Description

Bengal Tiger is a charming 46ft reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat, beautifully built by Heron Boat Builders in 2001. This well-maintained boat offers a comfortable and practical living space, ideal for both leisure cruising and longer stays.

The boat benefits from a pram and cratch cover and has an internal cabin height of 6’6”, providing a spacious and airy feel throughout. The galley is well-equipped with an under-counter fridge freezer, an under-counter oven and grill, a built-in hob, and a stainless steel sink with drainer, making it a practical and pleasant space for meal preparation.

The lounge area features a multi-fuel stove to keep the cabin cosy, two comfortable swivel chairs with footstools, and a corner unit with a 24” TV. Steps lead up to the stern, offering easy access to the exterior.

The master bedroom includes a double bed with storage underneath, overhead storage, and a double wardrobe, providing plenty of room for personal belongings. Steps from the bedroom lead to the bow, enhancing the boat's functional layout.

The bathroom has recently been updated with a new Whale Gulper pump and features a Thetford cassette toilet, a sink with vanity unit, and a quadrant shower. A side hatch in the hallway brings additional light and ventilation into the corridor space.

Bengal Tiger is powered by an Izuzu engine, and a new Boat Safety Certificate will be provided before the sale is completed. The hull was last blacked in May 2023, and the boat had a survey carried out in 2022.

The boat runs on a 12V and 240V electrical system, with shore power and a Sterling inverter, supported by three leisure batteries and one starter battery. It is fitted with a calorifier and immersion heater for hot water, with heating supplied by a reliable multi-fuel stove. Gas supply is provided via two 13kg propane cylinders, and the fuel tank has a capacity of 100 litres.

Whether you are looking for a cosy home from home or a stylish leisure cruiser, Bengal Tiger offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy life on the water in comfort and style.
