Helsby Scarecrow Trail
For some great fun for the whole family, stop by the Helsby Scarecrow Trail in Helsby, just under a 30 minute drive from Tattenhall Marina. This year's theme is to celebrate all Kings and Queens, whether that is royal kings or queens, musical legends, or even Disney princesses.
The Scarecrow Trail is a great community event starting Monday 1st May, with a special coronation event on Monday 8th May including artisan stalls, food and drink, live music, mini fairground rides and more.
Become a Royal For The Day
To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, you can become a royal for the day at Grosvenor Museum! Create your very own crown and dress up as royals through time.
This is a free drop-in event on Saturday 6th May, from 10:30am to 12pm. Perfect for crafty kids to get creative and make something to remember the special day by.

What could be a more beautiful way to remember this special occasion? Come along to Chester Cathedral for a special live stream of the BBC’s coverage of The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort.
The Cathedral opens at 10.45am with the live stream starting at 11am until 2:30pm.
Malpas Coronation Celebration
Come along on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th for lots of celebratory fun at the Malpas Coronation Celebration on Malpas High Street and Malpas Recreation Ground.
On Sunday from 12:30pm there will be a free-entry parade and traditional country fayre, followed by exciting live evening entertainment. Then join in with the bank holiday Monday Fun Run at 8am for £5 entry, plus a treasure hunt and afternoon tea!
The Coronation Art Exhibition
This historical British event is a great time to appreciate some of our country's best contemporary art.
Supporting Ukraine, British Art Portfolio will be displaying a Coronation Art Exhibition displaying a high quality selection of new and exciting artworks by British contemporary artists, including paintings in all mediums, drawings, hand-coloured engravings, sculptures and ceramics.
The exhibition opens on Friday 28th April until Friday 5th May at The Sicily Oak Gallery in Cholmondeley.
